Following the completion of Padel Social Club’s first flagship members club in Earls Court, the club brought us on to officially launch its offering to friends and family of the club, the public, and its members. This event needed to be more than a day of sport, and rather a complete immersion into what Padel Social Club is all about: padel, fitness, wellness, and socialising. In the process, Padel also wanted to showcase its facilities to prospective members, resulting in uptake post-event.

In a deliberate move, we ideated something which could take place annually, building momentum year on year and serving as a milestone moment in the Padel communities diary so that the marketing investment would be worthwhile for years to come. We created the Padel Summer Social. 

Across the clubs 5 courts, we formulated activities which would each encapsulate one of the pillars of a Padel Social Club membership to showcase the best of the club, whilst also promoting the benefits of a membership to those without one. This resulted in a mix of free play courts, a professional showcase between some of the world’s best players, a summer championship for members, and an influencer-run fitness session with HIT coach Kate Moss

Bringing the site visually into the summer season, we brought in a range of jungle inspired plants and foliage to sit across the club and around the courts. On raised platforms, a DJ and live saxophonist created atmosphere throughout the evening, whilst food and beverage partners worked the floor at ground level. Each of the 5 courts were in use back to back throughout the evening, and the lounge areas facilitated hang out spots and viewing areas for the games.

By renting our production items, we supported a circular economy – an objective of ours across all our projects. 60% of our suppliers were also local to the venue meaning we could guarantee minimal travel time and emissions.

With a target attendance of 100+ guests, we were delighted to see over 160 attendees make an appearance – including a number of journalists invited for the afternoon press package – and a successfully curated evening for promoting a Padel Social Club membership.
