When it comes to creating experiences which elevate the everyday, there are particular objectives that resonate well. The approach works for brands where products are more likely to be purchased on the spot, making them easily accessible in everyday high footfall areas. This contrasts to a luxury brand who are less likely to have mass shoppers, and may opt for a more extraordinary approach. For instance, Marble Creative Studios is bringing to life a pop up for Alo Yoga this December outside their new store in Covent Garden driving awareness &amp; footfall. Designed to stop people in their tracks amidst the busy Christmas season, passersby can enter the Alo Lodge to shop the new collection while being immersed in scents, hot drinks &amp; festive cheer. 
Marble Creative Studios also brought to life <a href="/case-studies/creating-idole-house" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lancôme</a> Idôle House earlier this year, delivering short bursts of education around the new Lip Idôle Butterglow lipgloss in science lab style set ups and masterclasses, immersing consumers with rich themed touchpoints including a café, where even the butter was pink. In both cases, activations centre on providing on the spot purchase opportunities, with footfall &amp; awareness as key metrics of success.

There is also an increasing need for creating one off extraordinary experiences that last longer in people’s memories, especially with AI at play, where consumers are more prone to question if what they see online is real or not. For example, the Louis Vuitton flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York was transformed with a facade made to look like its iconic suite of luxury luggage trunks at a “mindboggling” scale. Rather than driving on the spot sales with the price tag out of reach for most passersby, this was designed to drive viral social reach with photos being shared online, capturing the attention of prospective customers who aspire to own a product from the brand. 
Another great example is skincare brand Cera Ve, who took creators hiking in the Dolomites to experience the very peak of skincare, to celebrate their new blemish range. The experience was filled with traditional branded moments such as branded gowns featured in morning skincare routines. Though a budget friendly product, the trip took influencers outside of the everyday with the opportunity for aspirational once in a lifetime content creation moments.

This principle extends to the creative process. As Leonardo da Vinci said “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”, and when it comes to creative pitching, I can’t think of a better mantra. At its core, simplicity isn&#8217;t about stripping ideas down to the bare minimum; it&#8217;s about distilling them to their essence, where their power truly lies. 
Too often we see brands and creatives overcomplicate the message, when in fact, one of the most valuable creative skills is making complex ideas simple. A pitch deck is a reflection of one’s ability to do just that—clearly articulate a concept. There is power in the simplicity of a single, focused idea per slide, ditching the jargon and letting the visuals speak for themselves. If an idea relies on excessive text to be understood, it may be a sign that it’s too abstract and it’s not a good idea at all. A pitch isn’t just about filling the screen with information—it’s about inviting the client into the story. Slides should serve as a complement to a verbal presentation, not as a replacement, and too much detail can often lead to getting stuck in the weeds.

Creativity is influenced by culture and the environment we immerse ourselves in. In today’s data-driven world, brands tend to fixate on chasing &#8216;the now&#8217; and obsess over measurable outcomes. But does looking at past trends stifle future innovation? Over-optimisation and constant drive for short-term gains, whether through chasing virality or immediate profitability, can extinguish the very spark behind breakthrough creative ideas. Trend-based thinking often sacrifices long-term vision, undermining the experimentation, originality, and bold creative risks needed to push boundaries and create something truly magic and enduring.
True cultural relevance goes beyond fleeting fads. It’s about understanding the zeitgeist and weaving it authentically into creative work. Culture surrounds us, it’s in what we do, see, and enjoy. Naturally, the creative process is influenced by the cultural context it exists within, whether consciously or subconsciously. Embracing this understanding can be liberating, allowing ideas to thrive beyond the confines of data. 
That’s not to dismiss analytics—they’re still a vital part of the creative pitching process. Instead, perhaps it’s worth reevaluating our relationship with them. Data should inform or elevate creative decisions, but not dictate them. To guide, not govern, leaving room for intuition, imagination, and unconventional thinking. Striking the balance between relevance and timelessness, that’s how our creative ideas become part of the cultural conversation in a way that lasts.

An in-person pitch holds a distinctive impact, where the setting itself can set the stage for meaningful connection. A creative, inviting space can open up collaboration in ways a sterile conference room never could. Even online, paying attention to the room’s feng shui—lighting, camera angles, and background—can shape how our ideas are received. 
Pitching isn’t just about selling an idea; it’s about building connection and trust, and offering a window into how effectively we could work together in the future. While coming up with a proposal might be easy, presenting it to a stranger is hard. Taking the time to research and understand the decision-makers on a personal level, as well as a professional one, can help transform a pitch into a warm conversation, rather than a cold performance. 
93% of our communication is non-verbal with the vast majority only perceived on a subconscious level. A presentation with confident body language, compelling storytelling and buckets of emotion can seduce the audience and their collective subconscious in ways that words alone often can’t. At the end of the day, people buy people. If we don’t connect on a deeper human level, we won’t be bought. The energy in the room, unspoken yet palpable, speaks volumes and we should aim to harness it as a powerful tool to be memorable. Sometimes, it’s chemistry that wins over concept.

Ogilvy transformed their boardroom into a runway for Dove, and personalised Coca-Cola bottles with the decision-makers&#8217; names and those of their loved ones were handed out during the pitch for the ‘Share a Coke’ campaign. In today’s digital landscape, don’t underestimate the power of the tactile, and flipping the script on the client’s role from a passive observer to an active participant can be incredibly effective. 
Perhaps, the future of pitching lies in experiential agencies doing experiential pitches—crafting presentations that are as creative, immersive, and impactful as the work itself.

These channels grew in popularity, with most top flight football teams having one or two figureheads leading their clubs’ online fanbase &#8211; and with this, comes the creation of online celebrities. One of the largest football fan channels to date &#8211; ‘The United Stand’ &#8211; is led by the online persona ‘Mark Goldbridge’, who cultivates experiences and opportunities for fans globally, all whilst simultaneously growing into stardom himself. Through his videos and matchday streams, fans who are unable to attend the big games still feel a part of the community, through live player match rating votings, and live chat opportunities. Historically, these fan channel communities have been known to lead to real club change, through protests and petitions. Whether it’s within the online fan community, or by the club themselves, fan channels give lovers of the game the chance to have their voices heard.

Fan channels have transitioned over time towards a more modern, real life format of content. Live streams remain popular, but fans want to feel more involved in the matchday experience. Channels and creators adapted to the desires of their communities, and began vlog-style real life interviews with fans outside the stadium. A prime example of this is exhibited by ‘Arsenal Fan TV’ &#8211; an icon in the Football YouTube industry. Post-game reactions began to blow up, with repeat fans becoming ambassadors for the channel. These interviews attracted fans with engaging personalities to express their emotions about their club. This expanded to the point where fans from other clubs would watch the interviews, just for entertainment, thus diversifying the community and growing their following. 
 
Beyond the humour factor &#8211; fan cams provided a face to the usernames. Now fans can really be involved, not only heightening their experiences on matchday, but also providing opportunities to promote their own personalities. Today, various fan channels have bred and fostered a host of influencers from the ground up. Passionate fans have become influencers, making a living from supporting their favourite team.

Major media outlets began to notice the rise of fan-made content, and quickly incorporated it into their own. The best example of this is within Sky Sports’ ‘The Overlap’ Podcast. Hosted by footballing legends Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Ian Wright, Jill Scott, and Jamie Carragher, the podcast alone brought insightful discussions surrounding their individual football experiences. With guests weekly such as Wayne Rooney, each episode offers a different perspective on the game we all love. But, with fan content increasing in popularity, Sky Sports needed to adapt, and so created ‘The Overlap Fan Debate’.
A unique concept, Sky gathered one fan per Premier League team into a room to discuss each other’s clubs before the new season started. Put simply &#8211; it was genius. Not only did it evoke interesting conversations &#8211; and arguments &#8211; it significantly elevated the buzz surrounding the up and coming season. Success was evident, through the fan debate becoming not only an annual event, but a much more frequent sub-series within the podcast, allowing different fans to experience football chat like no other with their favourite players. 
Through the creation of this concept, major media outlets certainly heightened the experiences for football fans, and allowed them to get involved with the debate.
