“Working with Marble has been really fun. We’ve learnt loads from them in terms of how to put on a really big event - and they’ve been really friendly as well.”
Will Dennis - Head of Sustainability, Daylesford

We managed and produced Daylesford’s first two-day festival – the largest event ever to be hosted on the farm.

Daylesford produces organic and sustainable food from their beautiful Cotswolds farm, also hosting workshops and events that promote living seasonally and sustainably. It’s been incredibly rewarding working with a client who is B Corp certified and who, like us, value using business as a force for not only good, but for positive change.

We managed a huge variety of the festival’s elements, from operations and technical production to talent management and collateral production.

It was vital to ensure Daylesford’s core values were tangible throughout every part of the festival showing existing and potential Daylesford customers how, where and why the brands are working alongside nature to create products that do not damage the earth and its resources through their sustainable practices.

We filled the Market Garden with an abundance of delicious food and beverage choices with a focus on supporting local suppliers whilst also ensuring there was plenty of space to play, relax, and soak up all the glory Daylesford has to offer in the heat of the summer sun. There were a wide variety of children’s activities including the popular dog show, JCB Dancing Diggers, circus, Author’s Corner and Outdoor Activities area. We also organised craft activities and workshops for all ages including flower crown making, botanical screen printing and calligraphy.

The festival was a celebration not only of 20 years of the iconic farm shop but of all the Daylesford brands: Bamford, Léoube, Nila, The Wild Rabbit, The Fox and The Maytime Inn. We ensured they all shone during the event. Léoube had a high impact pop up area, encouraging farm shop customers to purchase their award-winning organic wines. Wellness was a key pillar of the festival’s design with Bamford specialising in ethical and natural body, skincare and homeware and having recently opened The Club by Bamford, a holistic health and wellness club. Guests were encouraged to take a moment out of the hustle and bustle with nourishing activities including yoga, meditation and breathwork in the Bamford wellness tent and quiet zone. Tent Talks included sessions with practical wellness tips such as ‘Gut Busting Myths of Nutrition Answered’ with a panel of specialists including Daylesford’s Head of Fermentation – Jason Christie, resident nutritionist – Rhaya Jordan, co-founder of DIRTEA – Andy Salter and psychotherapist – Lucy Johnson.

As well as speakers, we managed the talent and programme for a lineup of incredible workshops and cooking demos. The Cookery School cooked up a storm with sessions like Summer Suppers with Clodagh McKenna, encouraging seasonal eating and the Food Waste Masterclass with Martyn Odell gave practical advice on making the most of the food you already have. Guests connected with nature from landscape artistry sessions with local artist Rupert Aker to flower pressing, sheep shearing demos and an insightful lineup in Garden Talks such as Gardening in a Changing World with landscape designer Darryl Moore and From the Veg Patch with food writer Kathy Slack.
